An unfortunate ill report card bestowed on the collection of owners at Highbridge Condominiums did not prevent them from making their building right again. Every building envelope component required consideration to avert premature failure. So with report in hand, FEI embarked on their proposal to remedy the situation.

The City of Milwaukee approved FEI’s concept to provide exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS) components, and maintain as much aesthetic and texture as possible to acknowledge the original façade. High-performance windows replaced the simpler versions. Directing moisture away from accumulating at the interior was paramount, every step of the way.

Roofing, cladding, and fenestration were all affected by this rehabilitation. In some ways it’s a better-looking building, but FEI knows it as a much better performing building.
